Interest in the World Cup is generally not so great in the US. However, near me is Jackson Heights with a large South American population. Things along 37th Ave. are celebratory and roars can be heard emerging from bars and restaurants for blocks when something dramatic happens. A pet store caught my eye that sells dog outfits in the various national team colors.
