The Ft. Myers Beach Fishing Pier has been destroyed by Ian. Here are some interesting photos.

The remains of the Ft. Myers Beach pier. Internet photo.  After Ian. Notice the T shape. (Capital T) design. The metal skeleton remains. The Sanibel fishing pier also was T shape.  (capital T)

This pier was destroyed except for the metal framework.
