We all understand why this was done, and these dunes with the dune grass are impressive and necessary as a way to block major storms from hitting the boardwalk and the town hard. And these dunes are not the only engineering aspect designed to save OG from another Sandy.
But, they have blocked the ocean views of those on the boardwalk, and OG is not the only nearby shore town where the same situation prevails.
