The Ladies Auxiliary Bazaar opening prayer right before they opened the sale at 5:00 pm Friday. Jean Bredin photo.

This is Jan. She offered me a deal on anything. A Grover we met got an oriental vase for $20.00–down from $ 25.00. There always is the fantasy that it might truly be worth $100,000. He is taking it home to stash away among his years of collecting stuff.
Eileen and I went to the Bazaar. We said that we would just take photos and not buy anything. (We’re downsizing.). And that is what happened. Eileen has a new camera.
The ladies in red specialize in titles that are hard to spell, eg “bazaar.” And there’s my all time favorite: “auxiliary” written right in the middle of their chests with two i’s.
