A South End surge of 6 adjacent addresses will be participating. We are now 32 sales.
If any of you sellers have something special that you want to photograph, just send a jpg.
Alsov,if you send me more list items, don’t forget to remind me of your address
New sellers are welcome through Friday 6/17
SHOPPERS: Bring your bikes if you are driving from outer space. Park your car anywhere including the shopping center and then use your bikes to visit our 32 locations.
Avoid Genghis Kahn and his hordes who will be shopping for crafts on the Pathway. But our sales are more interesting with a much better chance of finding a bargain or even a treasure or maybe a new friend or a rewarding conversation. (I accidentally wrote “conversion” and that could be risky business in Ocean Grove.)
WEATHER FORECAST SUNNY (and Cher)
We are now up to 32 sellers and we are listing items for sale (Currently the “list” can be seen by clicking on the Yard Sale tab at the top of this home page. )
On June 16 we will move the list to the top spot on Blogfinger.net so that anyone who responds to one of our ads or our fliers will land right there. The Asbury Park Press will be published on June 16, 17 and 18. The Coaster will be on June 16. We also have fliers posted downtown. Let me know if you want fliers.
Sellers: Consider kibitzing with your shoppers and playing some music at your sale and telling jokes. People like to buy from garrulous and funny people.
You can still sign up for our Saturday list. You can have small sales with limited items, for example just in the morning. Tell us if you will do different hours from our advertised 9-4.
Because of the Craft Show on the Pathway, (9-4) you might want to start at 8 am. You can also end your sale early. And you can stay open on Sunday—-just let us know.
Most of the action is usually in the morning.
Yard sale music: From the movie “What Women Want.” Women want yard sales.
It’s Peggy Lee with “I’ve Got the World on a String.”
Every year I’ve been a seller in the Town Wide Yard Sale. I’ve enjoyed them all! This year, I plan on going to as many as I can…so I can be part of the Fun !!
