« Unruly ocean wave….
What if you had “move-in day” for Tent Village, and no one showed up? May 30, 2020 remembered. »

Fog creeps into the Grove…..it just sits there while the rain falls.

Fog

By Carl Sandburg

The fog comes
on little cat feet.

It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.

JOHNNY HARTMAN from the soundtrack of Clint Eastwood’s The Bridges of Madison County.  “For All We Know.”

The movie is a sweet romance with Meryl Streep and Eastwood.

Clint is a great jazz fan, so Hartman sings this song on the radio while the two lovers slow-dance in her kitchen–a wonderful movie moment.
