We played this song yesterday (2015) by Nora Jones and Willie Nelson, but Lee Morgan, our resident music professor at the Blogfinger University, has a retro-idea. This is what he says:
“The last words I uttered last night were “Baby It’s Cold Outside.” No coincidence that my first words this morning were those same words.
“In 1944, Frank Loesser penned a song entitled “Baby It’s Cold Outside.” The song is a duet between a man and a woman…
“The piece has been covered by dozens of artists over the years. In 1961 Ray Charles and Betty Carter came together and made this iconic recording. There is nothing I can say that will aid the experience of carefully listening to their magic.”
