Here’s a Beach Boys song called Help Me Rhonda. I used to meet an old friend at the Seville Diner in East Brunswick for breakfast. There was a waitress there who used to regularly wait on us…..her name was Rhonda so we would sing “Help Me Rhonda” to her. She always laughed and she always helped us.
Unfortunately COVID put the Seville out of business, and we don’t know where Rhonda is now. Maybe surfing.
My old friend (since 4th grade) R. is now a retired judge. I want to get him to the Grove to judge bathing suits at the beach.
By the way, the Broadway show Waitress will open again tomorrow on 47th Street. I hear they are requiring vaccines and masks.
