“This piece was done in memory of “Sunny” whose mom misses him very much. I’m hoping that I caught a bit of his spirit to bring his mom some joy.”

The art world is full of artists filled with angst, but not MaryLou Shipman.   MaryLou is a happy artist,  infectiously  cheerful, who has studied her craft, and you can see it in her work.*

We know MaryLou as a painter of Ocean Grove cats, but she is is much more versatile than that.

Thanks to MaryLou I think we have exhausted all the songs from the Broadway show CATS.
