More religious music in the Grove: It is the July 17 Saturday festival called “PraiseFest.”

July 15, 2021 by Blogfinger

The Choir Festival was just held on Sunday July 11, and it was almost exclusively religious music.

Then, on Saturday July 17, there will be the all-day Christian music “celebration”  called “PraiseFest 2021. ” That will include music presented in 9 acts from 2 PM  to 9 PM in the Boardwalk Pavilion.  The last act will be “Sanctus Real,” a Christian Rock band.

There also will be  food, games, prayer, and activities  on the Pathway, similar to Bridgefest last week, and a bonfire on the beach at night.    For more information:  Oceangrove.org.

We have been asserting that the CMA has been expanding their programming,  and this is a new event to occupy the beachfront and Ocean Pathway for most of the day on Saturday, July 17.

The peak summer season at the shore is the last two weeks in July and the first two weeks in August. Check the summer program guide to see what is what is dominating this town during that stretch.

We’ll report the events;  you can draw your own conclusions.

The people of Shark River Hills, a part of Neptune Township as is Ocean Grove, have formed an organization to ensure that their community gets treated fairly.  This is from the Neptune web site:   “Over 500 property owners in The Hills belong to the Shark River Hills Property Owners Association (founded in 1929) which represents residents’ interests…”

And the Belmar mayor once told a reporter that his first priority is the residential community of his town.  He is elected by the people not appointed by the sitting councilmen.

Who represents Ocean Grove residents interests?
