a. It has come to my attention that WordPress is requiring potential Blogfinger commenters to sign into a WordPress membership. My goal with Blogfinger is to encourage participation; we don’t want anyone to walk away because of having to sign in with WordPress. I have changed the setting to offer more privacy for commenters. Please let me know if you have any issues about comments.
Or you can comment by just sending us an email (Blogfinger@verizon.net). and we will post your comment on the site.
However, you still might be edited, but mostly that is for clarity, length, punctuation, spelling, etc. We will never reject an opinion just because we disagree.
But, we do have rules, and you can read them by looking north and clicking on “rules.”
b. You can also initiate a discussion of some topic under the heading of “Just Wondering.” Submit that by email as well.
c. And if you have a superior photograph, send that by email.
d. Sight seeing, but now OG is a bit like Sea Bright, however they don’t even have a boardwalk.

One of the great pleasures of being on the OG boards was to gaze out to the beach and ocean as you walked, jogged or biked along. But you may have noticed that the dunes, built since Sandy in 2012, now block those visual pleasures. I miss that, and many would sit on a bench or they may have brought a chair to enjoy the view and the breezes. You can’t even see the beach cross.
These dunes will provide protection against flooding during big storms, but now you will need a beach badge to enjoy the same sights that used to be free. But you still can come by before the badge checkers arrive or after 4:15 pm when they leave.
