a.  There are two classes of marijuana dispensaries: medical and recreational, and they cannot occupy the same physical location.

A medical marijuana dispensary opens in Neptune Township  Rt. 66.  It is “Zen Leaf.”  And there is already one (“Garden State”)in Eatontown.

And two recreational marijuana stores may  open near Monmouth Mall in Eatontown.  Town officials are working on an ordinance by July.  The citizens there approved the idea  2:1.

Neptune has already approved recreational shops while West Long Branch has banned them.

b. 262  WordPress bloggers follow Blogfinger.wordpress.co  They get notices with each of our posts. And we have subscribers who do the same.

c.  The last time the Home Groaners posted their minutes was in October, 2020  (7 months ago.)  Making progress on behalf of the homeowners of Ocean Grove?

d.  Season beach badges can be purchased starting today at the GA Box Office.

e.  The Home Groaners and the Bitter Parking Alliance held another parking gabfest today.   They were going to have speakers from the HOA Parking Committee, the BPA, the Chamber of Commercials,  and the CMA.

But where is the group who represents those of us who actually live in this town?  And where are the Fabulous Five from the Neptuner Headquarters?

Before the meeting, the BPA announced that they will have no solutions, only optimism and more talk.

We didn’t go because we made it clear that these groups are ignoring the 800 pound  gorilla in the room:  excessive tourism—too many cars for too few spaces.   The best we can hope for from the Better Gabbers Alliance would be some nibbling around the edges.
