Jean reflects on her latest photograph at Wesley Lake.

February 10, 2021 by Blogfinger

Jean Bredin finds inspiration over at Wesley Lake.  Ocean Grove side.   2/9/21. Blogfinger staff. ©

Jean says “I really went overboard taking so many pictures.”   So look for her swimming about in this picture. She took many photos of this scene, but she couldn’t decide which to pick, so we chose this one with the  perfect composition, subdued colors,  and fascinating lighting including the sun  (or is it the moon?  Anybody know?)

Jean travels around town documenting what’s up.   But she is not any old reporter;  that’s not to say that she’s old because she is not.  But she also has a creative streak which reveals itself in her photographs.     Thanks Jean.

For Jean:  Here’s a song about Girl Land  by Jack Cassidy and Shirley Jones from Free to Be You and Me.  And Jean keeps Girl Land alive with her “Around Town with Jean” series on Blogfinger.net

That is a great photo, Jean. I wonder if Jack could play with it just using blacks, whites and grays. You two make a great team.

That orb is low in the OG, southern, winter sky so it must be the sun. The full moon’s path in the sky (high vs low) is actually opposite of the sun so high in the winter and low in the summer. -TC
