a. From author Ted David: The Chamber of Commerce in Ocean Grove will be celebrating the 150th anniversary of the founding of Ocean Grove on Saturday, April 13, 2019. Among the activities for the day will be an Historical Trolley Tour of the town. I have been asked to “ride the circuit” as historian and will be pointing out the many interesting facts about this fantastic place.
I will also be quoting some from my own books” Forgotten Ocean Grove” and “The Other Side of Ocean Grove”. Come take a ride with me. You can get your copy of either book before April 13 by going to Amazon.com and reading up before we start our adventure. I will be available for book signing as well. See you April 13
b. From Blogfinger in December, 2018. Ted David’s new book “Forgotten Ocean Grove” is now available at Amazon.com.
This is the Amazon blurb below.
“Ocean Grove is New Jersey’s most interesting and curious town. Founded in 1869 as a religious Utopian Society it is now a 21st century beach-side resort that attracts thousands every year. ” Forgotten Ocean Grove” unearths many of the curiosities that have been lost to time. This is not an ordinary history book.
“It contains 147 mini-stories from the past to the present. It is also an excellent guide for a walking tour of the Grove. If you are a visitor, new resident or your family has been here for generations you will love what you learn about our tiny hamlet at the Jersey shore called “God’s Squire Mile”
To purchase go to Amazon.com and type “Ted David Forgotten Ocean Grove.” Soft cover version is $15.95. Kindle is $9.99
