This is the monstrosity that you get when true and clear corruption is involved in local politics. This isn’t good or competent planning. This is back room, money in their pockets planning.
Believe the township committee meeting is tonight, November 26.
This is what our Township Committee wants to bring to its “Historic District?” We do not have representative local government in this Township.
The majority of voters in OG could not even bring themselves to reject this bunch at the polls. Hopeless!
Too bad we couldn’t vote for the Asbury Park Council.

Nope! And I would contribute to a legal fund to fight it!
The massing of this is way too tall, too dense! A small, 3 story hotel on the boardwalk and single family houses is what this space needs.
Shouldn’t the good citizens of Ocean Grove show up at this meeting and voice their disapproval and possibly outrage? This looks like Neptune is trying to cash in on the economic boom in Asbury at our expense. This will do absolutely nothing to improve our way of life in this town. And where is the CMA in this exploitive exercise? Are they looking the other way for the sake of increased ground rent? I would have expected more.
