Tegan Marie. Teen-aged country star. Generation Z.
We saw Tegan Marie in the Macy’s parade. She is a 15 year old from Michigan and she not only performs, but she is a song writer as well. She spends much of her time now in Nashville.
This is Tegan’s second hit “I Know How to Make a Boy Cry,” and she co-wrote this song. She performed her current hit “Keep It Lit” on top of a Macy’s Parade float.
Tegan says that her music is aimed at Generation Z (born in mid-1990’s to the early 2000’s.)
