Taxes: “Inasmuch as taxes are a great concern to the homeowners, Barbara indicated that Bernie Haney and Dawn Crozier from the Township’s Tax Assessor’s Office had been invited to this morning’s meeting, but were unable to attend. A handout from the Neptune Township’s web site –Q&A from the Assessor was made available. Township Committeeman Rob Lane reported that State funding to the Neptune schools was $600,000 less than anticipated, thus further affecting the coming year’s taxes.”
Grovers received a “handout” rather than a personal appearance from Bernie Haney, the Neptune Tax Assessor, who once hid in his office rather than face a Blogfinger reporter ‘s questions.
Now Bernie is once again hiding from Grovers, so why don’t the gutless wonders from the HOA march down there and demand that he answer their questions?
