   If we can’t have marching bands, how about more trailers behind vintage vehicles with musicians on board. Or some floats from the different organizations. Instead of all the fire trucks bunched together, how about spreading them out?

   Helen. Thank you for that suggestion. But what would be a better idea would be to get the developers who are waiting in the wings to turn the North End into Asbury Park South to dig into those deep and influential pockets to hire an impressive marching band for the 2019 parade.

   Maybe next year, Blogfinger can scrape together a couple of thousand dollars to sponsor a Brass band.
