I’m a dog owner in OG and my dogs run on the beach everyday. In the summertime, we drive to AP and enjoy their northend beach.

The people whom I observe on the OG beach and Asbury beach are extremely vigilant about picking up after their pets. It’s actually the tourists whom we need to watch ; they leave piles of trash on the beach everyday.

The dog owners are extremely respectful and rarely do I see a mess not cleaned. A dog beach in OG would be a tremendous and much needed addition to this town.

What is the length of the Ocean Grove beachfront? Or I guess the same question is the distance from the Bradley Beach border to southern border of Asbury Park Much appreciated? JG

I am in favor of the dog beach/area, but it has to be kept clean; if not, then it will need to be revoked!

Based on the amount of dog droppings I see on the streets, sidewalks, and green space around me, I assume they will not be able to self-police.
