Around town with Jean Bredin. Jan 1, 2018. Blogfinger staff © It sorta looks like George Washington crossing the Delaware, but without the Hessians.
Jean Bredin says, “The Polar Bear Plunge went off today as scheduled in Asbury Park, in spite of temperatures hovering around ten degrees. It was brutally cold, but these stalwart plungers didn’t disappoint. In fact, it appeared there were more than last year, not less, due to the extreme cold.”
Blogfinger thinks that Jean should receive combat pay for getting her bippy wet to score this action shot.
Jean: Did you wear your red dress this morning?
Editor’s note: From Jean: “No I did not wear my red dress..!! I was dressed for the frozen tundra.”
