Just wondering from HPC Watcher:
“The HPC had a meeting on Sept. 13, 2017. I am told that the Township’s quest for a historical architect is unfulfilled so far. The HPC has no idea what the job description will be for that position. They also worry as to what the HPC’s roll will be relating to the architect once appointed by the Neptuners.
“I propose that we name the group Hypocritical Preservation Commission. They are supposed to represent the people of Ocean Grove in protecting our historic designations. Are they strong or are they weak in the knees, hiding under their historic beds?
“Meanwhile what is the HPC doing to force the Township to keep the guidelines stringent? Will the HPC be like the HOA in cooperating with the Neptuners—-will they fold like cheap cameras?
“Will they resign if the Township tries to weaken the standards? Why doesn’t Deb and her gang speak up and say something to the citizens now?
“Will they defend the principles of historic preservation?”
