The farmers’ market at Main and Sunset was having a busy day today on a cool sunny Saturday morning.  They still have a variety of produce. Excellent Jersey peaches continue to show up. 

The tomatoes are still quite good and are cheaper than Wegmans at $1.99 a pound.  (vs $2.99) and there are fresh picked Jersey corn.

Also featured is extra virgin olive oil from Calabria, crunchy hearty breads from Paterson, and some beautiful melons. 

 Spicy piri-piri sauce is sold by the producer; that is a very special flavor which sells for twice the price at other locations. 

But, there was no whisky in sight—did they check the jar?
