36 New Jersey Avenue: did they tear it down yet?

June 10, 2017 by Blogfinger

People who live in this north side neighborhood  (New Jersey Avenue at Mt. Tabor) have a fondness for this cottage. It seems old fashioned, shabby and lovely.  We wrote about it last fall  (link below), and permission had been granted for demolition.   But it’s still standing.

Our neighborhood source tells us that it will come down after the summer to be replaced by a bigger house.
