2017 Property Inspections to Begin Soon—Ocean Grove is not on the list, but our day will come.

January 30, 2017 by Blogfinger

From Neptune Township on Jan 30, 2017:

unknown-1
As required under New Jersey Public Law 2013 CH. 15, Real Property Assessment Demonstration Program, Neptune Township will begin to conduct internal and exterior inspection of 20 % of the municipality. The purpose of the 5-Year Internal Data Collection Program is to increase the frequency of property data collection/verification so taxpayers aren’t unfairly left paying less or more than they should be for a decade or more. We have engaged Realty Data Systems to perform an exterior and interior inspection of all properties. Inspection notices have been mailed and inspections are schedule to begin within the next couple of weeks.

What properties should expect a visit?
Properties located within the Gables, Sunshine Village, Bradley Park, Part of Midtown (West of Highway 35), Part of Green Grove, and The Summit and Knox Hill Condominiums should expect a visit.

We can all thank this State Law for our spike in property taxes.
