This past winter, the flagpole at the base of Main Avenue snapped.  A new 50 foot flag pole was special ordered and was installed a week ago.

Last year an amazing floral display was placed at the base by the Beautification Project. Keep watching for the repeat.

I believe Christie ordered all flags to be flown at half mast for Friday, June 17th. I was working – did anyone notice if the flags Ocean Ave, Broadway entrance, etc were lowered?

The flags in town should all be at half mast honoring and memorializing the victims in Orlando.
