Soon we can square dance on that boardwalk. Here is the “Arkansas Traveller.”
I heard they were classifying the boardwalk area in front of the Cheap Beach Junk Pavillion as a temporary structure.
Joe, the easement (required by the Township) would cross beach property and would also require DEP approval.
DEP approval is unlikely because the Township had no jurisdiction to zone beach property, ‘ mixed-use Commercial and Residential’. The land is reserved for recreation, and according to Township records, the ‘ White Whale’ property was never sub-divided, contrary to the NERP.
The Township created a big problem for any ‘re-developer, the OGCMA, and anyone preparing an application for a required easement.
There isn’t? I would find it curious that the OGCMA wouldnt grant permissive use across its own property to access a business on its property.
I think “Chico” just noticed there is no easement to allow access to the North End Pavilion (ie the “White Whale”) for services, garbage collection, and deliveries.
