Jack Bredin at art show in Auditorium Square Park, 2012. By Paul Goldfinger © Blogfinger.net Click to see Jack’s local point of view.
In case you think that Jack Bredin spends all his time researching Municipal Land Use Law, Jack’s true infatuation is with art. He works at home, although he does have a private area that is his studio. His paintings are on permanent exhibit around town including over at the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association’s national headquarters on Pitman Avenue. Lately he has been focusing on some of the scenery on Main Avenue.
Here’s a link to a piece we wrote about his artistry when he was commissioned to paint Vicki’s roof: http://blogfinger.net/2015/11/28/annual-doll-house-show-opens-today-with-a-special-roof-top-attraction/
BEACH BOYS
….It’s nice to reminisce, while digging out from a blizzard, about a warm sunny day in Auditorium Park. The Art in the Park event was enjoyable. I hope they repeat it! Jack’s paintings document so much of Ocean Grove.
I have one of Jack’s works hanging in my office in Florida. Jack captures OG beautifully and daily reminds me what I have to look forward to come summer.
Great work!
Jack expresses the essence of Ocean Grove in each of his works. We have admired his work for years. Truly a talented artist!
