Bus ride into mid-town with the OG Historical Society to see a show: “Nice Work if you can get it.” Here are Grovers Kathy, Sue, and Eileen at 6:35 pm on Sept. 20, 2012. ©

If you scroll down you will find a photo of the Statue of Liberty in Times Square. Some of you were trying to guess the date of photo since I didn’t remember.
Dating photographs is a tradition in the world of fine art photography (and absolutely necessary in the world of photojournalism.)
So, urged on by those Blogfinger researchers, I went back into my files and, to my surprise, quickly found the file. The image was taken on September 20, 2012, at about 4:00 pm. I also found a few other photos from around the same time.
Curiously, at least from my point of view, I discovered that the photos were black and white, and color. I usually don’t mix those styles, because, at least for me, it makes me a little crazy as I try to pre-visualize an image. I once told my theory to a professional photographer from the National Geographic, but his reaction was, “”Ridiculous.” Well, easy for him to say since he shoots everything in color.

Newlyweds corral a couple of New York’s finest. I jumped in next to the real photographer at 4:04 pm, Sept. 20, 2012. Paul Goldfinger photo ©
From the show “Nice Work if you can Get It” OGrover wins. It is Matthew Broderick who is indeed married to Sarah Jessica Parker. If I were a woman, I would want to be married to a Broadway star. Of course, she’s not chopped liver either. (Here is a link to our article on the chopped liver reference:)

Matthew Broderick is the singer.
Um I believe it’s Sarah Jessica Parker’s husband, what’s his name? Matthew Broderick.
