This is for all of you who wandered over to Blogfinger from the Coaster, the Press, Craig’s List, posters, and by referral from your good friends. As of Friday evening, we have 61 Ocean Grove families ready to greet you at our town-wide yard sale which is as much a tour of beautiful historic Ocean Grove as it is a marketplace. It is also a social event, so come and meet our citizens who love to chat and talk about their houses and about the constantly evolving and diverse town where they live. We are expecting T-shirt weather, so don’t miss the opportunity to visit the ocean, even if you just dip your toes into the water or sit on the beach.
In the past, some Grovers have set up yard sales without telling us, so you can expect even more than the number indicated above. We will still be adding participants through Friday, so check back for the revised list. We have construction of our new boardwalk going on, but you will be able to access the beach and the pier at our north and south ends. Everything in OG is close to everything else. Also, if you have the energy, wander downtown to visit the shops and eateries.
To see the list of participant addresses, please look up and click on the tab that says “OG YARD SALE.”
Thanks for coming, Paul Goldfinger, editor @Blogfinger.net

Rain or shine. It will be in the 70’s with 40% chance of showers. Last year it was a similar forecast, and it went well anyhow. Some people put a plastic drop cloth over their tables and then removed it when the shower stopped. We put delicate items on our porch, and visitors came anyhow.
is there a rain date?
