ANSWER: A letter carrier.
HOWEVER: If you are in Ocean Grove, just call them tired.
It seems that all our letter carriers are going to be based in Neptune Township. They will not be allowed to use their bags on wheels. Instead they will drive into town in mail trucks, park, and then shlep their bags from house to house on their shoulders.
According to one letter carrier, the Ocean Grove post office will be for mail boxes and counter services such as mailing packages, buying stamps and waiting in lines.
Evidently, the union hasn’t helped these workers who will find their job to be more onerous. It does raise the question: What is the future of the historic OG facility, a place where most of us get to experience a moment from the past? Going into the OG post office is like time travel, except for the alarming recent increase in shipping prices.
There was talk that the Postal Service would save a lot of money by eliminating Saturday mail delivery. That sounded like a good idea to me, but, according to my source, Congress would not allow it. It’s hard to believe that Congress would make a decision on anything.

Evidently not, but perhaps we will hear from a member of the Postal Service about the details.
Would the carriers be allowed to use the wheeled units if can fit on the trucks?
