Since the Auditorium Park and the Ocean Pathway and the Boardwalk areas are owned by the CMA, there are no “No Smoking” signs there, so if you want to munch on a cigar, have a smoke, or chew a plug, that’s where you should head. Founders’ Park is posted with Neptune “no smoking” signs.
Maybe signs could be put up at Auditorium Park that say, “Smoke and Croak.” It’s ironic that smoking is permitted there because at GA concerts they tell you not to smoke around the building because it could set the place on fire.
I guess we need signs everywhere to tell us what to to. Even stores have signs that tell you what to do. For example, “Stop and Shop” or “Chat and Nibble.” Or, my favorite, in Florida, is “Stop and Grab.” I once went in there. The sales lady was hiding under the counter.
Tell us your favorite sign that tells you what to do (or not to do)
