Editor’s note: This poll is definitely of limited value because it is not scientific, and we don’t know who is voting. There are some other issues as well regarding accuracy. But despite that vulnerability, we can view it as an opinion sample.
You can decide for yourself if you want to be impressed by the result. Personally, I usually find some truth in these polls, especially when we get a large number of voters, but there was an incident in the past where someone summoned a large mailing list to stuff our ballots when a contentious issue was at stake. But most of the time I think it is Blogfinger readers who vote here and who generally live here or have some relationship to Ocean Grove.——-Paul
POLL CONCLUDED APRIL 29, 2013. SEE RESULTS BELOW. This poll received the most votes of any that we have had on Blogfinger. 251 voted and expressed their opinion. The issue seems settled in the Grove where a large majority have given their support to the Neptune Township Police Department regarding this matter. It remains to be seen if the Asbury Park Council chooses to make a fuss over something which would bring them some more embarrassment.
