It’s 10:00 p.m, and a wet frozen rain falls on snowy slush. The temperature is 33 degrees. It looks like the storm is winding down—very little wind. Comment here about this nor’easter. (Let’s call it storm #2), Have an adult beverage and listen to the music. —PG
SOUNDTRACK. Nancy Wilson with something repetitious and PG13:
Sadly, the naming of winter storms has become a “thing”, as per The Weather Channel – http://www.weather.com/news/winter-storm-names-20121001
Personally, I prefer the old way. “Snowpacalypse”, “Snowpacalypse II: Electric Bugaloo” and “Snowpacalypse III: Really? Freaking Really?” seems so much for poetic.
Wet Sand Storm
It has a name -Athena. They are naming winter storms now.
Lex Luther –
since Sandy is a diminutive of Alexander/Alexandra, it seems fitting that her male offspring would be Superman’s nemesis: Lex Luther
Nor’Enough
Hi I am a part time OG resident and am confused as to whether or not OG has power. I live on second beach block on Ocean Pathway if anyone reading this knows if this location has power can you please let me know. Thanking you in advance
I guess we can offer a prize to whoever names Storm #2 with a better name than Storm #2. I will judge, you submit. Talk amongst yourselves and don’t get verklempt. PG
If I have have power tomorrow, I will call the storm “Angelica.”
Editor’s note: What?
At least I don’t have to worry about losing power from storm #2. You can’t lose what you didn’t have to begin with!
