I found this on JCP&L’s website:

    Q. Why do I have to call you? Don’t you know when an outage occurs?
    A. Our technology helps us identify when large blocks of customers are without power, but it does not tell us where individual outages occur. Your call to our Outage Reporting Line, 1-888-LIGHTSS (1-888-544-4877) provides more detailed information about the outage than we could otherwise obtain. We count on your help, and we thank you for your assistance.

They have a map that shows there are 1-50 homes in Ocean Grove still without power.

Hopefully all of the people that have no power are calling the “trouble line” on their bill to open a “trouble ticket”. The areas with the MOST trouble tickets reported the more likely they will come out to check. Thats according to the person my husband talked to. Keep calling….my neighbors and I call every day!

Embury from Central to the Ocean is out also. Don’t know if there is a line down somewhere or a switch needs to be manually reset on a pole. Gunna be a cold one tonight though.

No you are not alone. Broadway blocks near the beach doesn’t have power; also some north end homes don’t.
