Photo News: Shark Caught on the OG Beach. August 22, 2012.

Shark caught at Ocean Grove’s south end.  Fisherman threw  it back.  Photo submitted by Mr. William Heatley.

We received this email today from Mr. William Heatley of Ocean Grove:

“I took these pictures this afternoon in Ocean Grove around 5:30 pm. You are welcome to use them in your OG blog.

“This does not appear  to be a sand  shark, as it has black tips on its  fins.

“I don’t know the name of the kids or the fisherman… but he threw it back.”

It is always nice to see a fisherman practice catch and release. I wonder was it caught during shark week…Oh No!
