Main Avenue perked up on Saturday for the Food Lover’s Block Party. (It was two blocks, actually.)

The band Big Vic and Billy B played for three hours, a number of street booths provided nourishment and the weather was partly cloudy with a nippy little breeze — perfect. Restaurants were busy with lunch customers, and everyone seemed in a gregarious, happy mood. — CL

    At least the OGCOC had the sense to close Main Ave before the season and generate traffic unlike last years events. They need to do more of this off-season, not during
