George Held told me that he never saw a wood stork in person.  Did he ever see one deliver a baby?   This time of year they start appearing in large numbers in Southwest Fla.

A couple of years ago, an entourage of them visited my backyard in Tropicana Co-op in Ft. Myers.   It reminded me of a Rotary meeting. (photo below)

I love wood storks.  They seem like important gentlemen.  Their beaks are long and curved and they stand erect.
