This is the 11th annual New Year’s Day fundraising event where over 500 people jump into the Atlantic Ocean near Convention Hall to raise money for over 15 local charities. the event is sponsored by the Sons of Ireland who had bagpipers there to lead the plungers to the water.
Bob Bowné is an award winning photographer from Ocean Grove whose amazing shot of Sandy blasting the fishing pier was posted on Blogfinger and has been on display at the Museum of the City of New York’s exhibit about Sandy.
