This is Leean who works in the little ticket-sales office on the boards, across from the pier. She sold me two season badges today 7/09/25.. She said that if I lose it, there’s no replacement. She said that Grovers tend to be honest, so write your phone number or her phone number on the back. (use a Sharpie. ) You can buy a badge from her with cash or card. She also sells hats. And she will answer questions, but nothing personal
And speaking of the Grovarian surfers who have their own beach, the State of NJ ruled this year that surfers and fishermen do not need badges. Really? I use my badge to occasionally take a walk at the shore with my camera.
