This presentation is by Paul Goldfinger, MD,  Editor Blogfinger.net.  During the COVID  pandemic.   8/30/2020.

This event  is the “Hallelujah Chorus”  by Handel.

It was a virtual performance to conclude the 66th Annual Choir Festival in Ocean Grove.

You can see the singers who were all in my dining room as I filmed this  with my iPhone. It was a tight squeeze.

Maestro Jason Tramm managed to conduct while standing high in the upper right hand corner.

 

First, click the large white arrow in the middle, and then the broken square in the lower right corner to see the choir faces. Hallelujah!

 

Despite the reduced choral power, a big sound was achieved.  Usually they have about 800 voices and a full orchestra.  Now there were just 7 instrumentalists, count the faces,  and the organ.

The sound echoed through the wooden cello of the Auditorium, and I recorded it with my iPhone,   and it was transmitted electronically all over the world via Blogfinger.net

Ironically, more people heard and viewed this spectacle this time than ever before.
