The Wegman parking lot was very busy on the day before New Year’s Eve. We were loading groceries into our trunk when a Cadillac stopped, signaling that he wanted our space. A couple in the car were “seniors.” He sat there waiting as we emptied our carts.
He smiled and said to me: “I would like to take your space, take your cart and take everything else….”
Me: “Oh, OK, Take my wife please.”
Some of you will remember Henny Youngman….a classic Borscht Belt comedian.
