Uncle Duke Demby. (USN Subs) on leave. 1942
Uncle Duke was in Hawaii for leave. He met another uncle (Al–Seabees) there. Duke was in the Pacific in WWII. When the war was over he joined the Postal Service. He loved to dance and to wear wild clothes. Duke had a large collection of fanciful hats. All the cousins loved to see Duke and his wife Peppy at our family events.
