What year is this “Caddy?” My Dad always wanted one, and after he retired he got one. His plate said : “007” And his phone number had 007. But he forgot that “Goldfinger” was a villain. Paul Goldfinger photo. Ocean Grove, NJ.

I photographed this beauty at the edge of Heroes Park. Later I saw it parked on Heck Ave. I don’t think Dad knew that Bond’s car was an Aston Martin. Those Brit cars would rust and fall apart—I had a Triumph Spitfire.
Buy American.—Really Paul? Our cars are German (ouch) and Japanese. But many Israeli taxis are Mercedes. My first car was a Plymouth. I remember chasing my girlfriend around that car, but a Rutherford Police Officer drove up thinking I was about to molest her. I don’t know how he knew that.

Hi, back to you, Paul(ie)!
Thank you for the e’s.
I AK a writer and editor, but I worked in “children’s new media” for some years, and we were very big on “emoticons,” as they called them back then. It’s a habit that has stuck with me.
🙂
That’s how we did them back then. Before there were even smiley faces.

Anne with an e
The Cadillac is a 1957 Eldorado Seville hardtop. Truly a work of art and collectible as only a small number were manufactured. The tail fins are completely different than the Coupe Deville and Sedan Deville of the same year.
Are Annes with an E smarter than Annes without an E? My brother Melvyn was smarter than Melvins. Jerry Lewis used to make fun of Melvins.
Shakespeare said, “What’s in a name?” Why do I care? I love nicknames. Just ask the Home Groaners.
And, Anne with an E. You are a writer and an editor, but what’s with the smiley face
From Paulie.
Thank you, Paul! Oliver and I love the pic! I am Anne with an E in case you are able to fix that. 😁 We are delighted to be part of your blog.
