Says Jean, “One of my favorite traditions is coloring eggs. It wouldn’t be Easter without them.  I used to hide them around the house when the kids were young, but that was a long time ago.”

I watched Easter Parade tonight. It was the perfect ending to Easter Sunday. I watched it with my Mom, 100 years old, who amazingly knew most of the songs.

I can remember vividly strolling along the Avenue in New York
in our Easter finery after Church.

As a child, I got a new outfit every Easter…patent leather shoes and pocketbook, dress and Easter bonnet. My Grandfather always bought me a rose corsage.
It was a very special day.
