A wide variety of Peeps, migrants from Pennsylvania.

I came upon a massive display of chocolate bunnies at Wegmans, and adjacent to them were marshmallow Peeps in all colors and flavors.
Peeps are machine made in Bethlehem, Pa. by the Just Born company. There are 3 ingredients in Peeps: corn syrup, sugar and gelatin.
I love chocolate so I was standing in front of that bunny display. Which to choose? Solid or hallow? Milk or dark?
A young woman was standing next to me. She reached out and snagged two bags of goodies.
Me: How did you decide which bunnies to buy?
She: Oh I knew what to get because last year my kids missed their favorites.
Me: Was it Peeps or chocolate bunnies?
She: Holding out a few cellophane bags to show me. “No…neither—these are jelly beans.
Me: I was amazed at her selection, but her kids will be happy.
I went home with two rabbits—one for me to nibble on gradually and one extra in case Eileen gets tempted. Jelly beans won’t do it for us.
