“Willie of Cookman Avenue.” He’s Mr. March in the calendar. Water color by MaryLou Shipman, OG artist.
By Paul Goldfinger, Editor, Blogfinger.net. Ocean Grove. 11/17/23.
MaryLou Shipman is a resident of Ocean Grove as well as one of the finest artists in town. We have published many of her paintings on Blogfinger, especially her portraits of OG dogs and cats.
She also was featured in the “Art on the Porch,” first edition this past June.
This calendar contains a mixture of her works including dogs, cats, cottages, gardens, and tents.
MaryLou’s 2024 calendar is available at The Comfort Zone, 44 1/2 Main Avenue in Ocean Grove.
This song, from Dames at Sea, is dedicated to MaryLou Shipman. It features Bernadette Peters and David Christmas:
