Heck Avenue Witches Convention reconvenes in the Grove. 10/28/23. Blogfinger reports:

October 29, 2023 by Blogfinger

Witch on Heck Avenue prepares a haunted brew in her cauldron.   She hums the “Witches Song” from Macbeth:  “Double, double toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron bubble”…..(Shakespeare).   All photos by Paul Goldfinger, Editor, Blogfinger.net.  1-/28/23.

This group cast aside their magic powers for the photos.     After this they flew around the Grove and sought out some victims to haunt. Blogfinger.net.  Click once on any photo to enlarge. Then return by finding a sideways back arrow.

Don’t let her sweet demeanor fool you. This witch-in-training can cause all sorts of mayhem.  Blogfinger.net

October 28, 2023.  Ocean Grove, NJ.:

It was a balmy day today in the Grove, and many folks were on the beach and the boards.  But few noticed a strange configuration in the sky.  A large contingent of witches on broomsticks were swooping back and forth, high and low, through the clouds as they headed to the annual Heck Avenue witches convention.

Blogfinger obtained an exclusive press pass for the event.  Usually witches are secretive and unable to be photographed.  Some of our pictures are slightly off because these witches are surrounded by a strange spell which accounts for their off images.

One told me that Tesla was working on an electric powered broomstick.  I asked anther if she was a good witch or a bad witch, and she said, “I am a sexy witch.”  That sounded fascinating  until I noticed that she was gazing at my jugular vein.

These witches travel from near and far including the Merry Old Land of Oz , Hogwarts, Savannah,  Transylvania, and Salem, Mass.

During their visit to the Grove they temporarily cast aside their witchiness, although we weren’t so sure about some of them.

Joy and Mike Adase, themselves a witch and wizard couple, provided a wonderful dinner for all these witches, most of which were female, although we didn’t ask them for their favorite pronouns. It was very kind of them to allow Blogfinger access.

The witches liked me so I was able to photograph them; usually any photos of witches  turn invisible very quickly.  I found them to be beautiful and enticing, as you can see, but if you were to fall under their spell,  you will regret it.

We will be sharing some more witchographs  subsequently. Below is a witches gallery. Click on one and then go on using the tiny lateral arrows.  Then come back here by finding a small X to click upon.

Witchy Woman: Thank you for all the exclamation marks. All of you look so good in the dark. And that’s great because black and white images in the dark are, in my experience, the way to go when dealing with witches.

Unlike the 16th century witches in Salem, Mass, who were usually set on fire, our Grover witches were fed a feast and were hot enough.
