Today, Saturday, October 28., 2023, the annual OG pet parade was held in Firemen’s Park.  It was sponsored by the Kearny Bank on Main Avenue and by the Rescue Ridge organization of Spring Lake (“Saving Pets by the Jersey Shore”).

Live music was provided by the “Band of Strays” with two members who live in the Grove.

The event was well attended, and there were prizes awarded.

At noon there was a parade which organized in the Park and then marched down Main towards the ocean.  The Neptune PD made sure that the line of march was safe.

The Blogfinger photography staff provided still photographs  and videos.  Not only were the pets dressed for the occasion, but so were their owners.   Jean Bredin obtained the video , and Eileen Goldfinger provided color photos.
