I have photographed that pile of corn in black and white and then color this past week. Why is that? It’s because art stands up to repetition. I bet Van Gogh could do 500 versions of sunflowers, all different.
Andrew Wyeth loved to paint his neighbor’s farm. As a result, over 70 years, he produced about 1000 varied works of the Kuerner farm and “farmscape.”
