The most photographed corn in New Jersey…

August 30, 2023 by Blogfinger

Asbury Saturday Market. 8/26/23 Paul Goldfinger photo. Click to enlarge.

I have photographed that pile of corn in black and white and then color this past week.  Why is that?  It’s because art stands up to repetition. I bet Van Gogh could do  500 versions of sunflowers, all different.

Andrew Wyeth loved to paint his neighbor’s farm. As a result, over 70 years, he produced about 1000 varied works of the Kuerner farm  and “farmscape.”

Here is a link to my post about “Evening at Kuerners.”

Blogfinger: “Evening at Kuerner’s.” Chadds Ford.

EDWARD STRAUSS:   From Guys and Dolls.
