We already covered this story. Click on link below to go to that post which has the complete DEP letter:
It is about the agitated protesters who demonstrate every Sunday morning to protest the CMA’s traditional rule that no one may enter the beach on Sunday morning.
It is our understanding the Neptune United complained to the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection about the lock and chain, and on August 10, the CMA received a “Warning Letter” that they may be in violation of State regulations.
Unlike the inaccurate headline above, the letter simply advised the CMA of a “potential violation.” The letter said that it provides the CMA with “an opportunity to voluntarily take corrective actions and to engage in discussions with the DEP.”
So once again the Coastericans fail to tell the truth. Don’t they have an editor over there in A. Park? If you want the truth, check with Blogfinger.net.
Today we learned from the Coaster that Michael Badger will not agree that the CMA is doing anything wrong, so there will be some discussions with the DEP.
So now you know that the CMA is not officially “in violation.”
BOB MARLEY and the WAILERS: “Stir It Up.”
The interesting part of the DEP letter to me was that it mentioned the OGCMA operates the beach under a “permit.” This suggests such an arrangement can be revoked if requirements are not met.
